The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Stanbic Bank, Alhassan Andani was yesterday May 13, 2018 enskinned chief of Pishigu, a farming community in the Northern region.
The enskinment was conducted at the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi by the Kampakuya Naa Abdulai Andani II, regent of Dagbon.
Mr Andani, born on November 24, 1960 at Banvim, near Tamale is the son of the late Paramount Chief of Sagnarigu, Sagnari’ Naa Abdulai Andani.
He joined Stanbic Bank after leaving Barclays Bank in June 2005 where he served as Deputy Managing Director.
Mr Andani holds a Bsc. in Agriculture from the University of Ghana and an MA in Banking and Finance from the Finafrica Institute in Milan, Italy.
He has served in various capacities and is currently the Board Chairman of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). He has been an Independent Non-Executive Director at Gold Fields Limited since August 1, 2016.
The astute banker has led a team of motivated staff and management to transform the Stanbic Bank from a third quartile bank into a first quartile bank.
In 2015, Mr Andani emerged the CIMG Marketing Man of the year 2014.
