A youth group based in the Northern region known as the ‘Patriotic Youth Alliance for Development’ has condemned an action they describe as “the wanton acts of violence” by the opposition NDC in the wake of its electoral defeat some weeks ago.
According to the group, the former president and NDC presidential candidate for the 2020 general elections, Mr. John Mahama has further compounded the situation by delivering a “somewhat hollow and needless speech” on December 30th, 2020 on why he has finally decided to go to court over the presidential results declared by the EC.
The group in a press statement copied to radiotamale.com, says there is no intention to comment on the matter, as it is clear in their minds that the NDC is engaged in a wild goose chase which will end up in a boomerang.
We are particularly disappointed in the leadership of the NDC for looking on with carefree attitude while their youth breached the Environmental Safety Law (Act 490 (h)) which prescribes standards and guidelines relating to the pollution of the air. The statement said.
